Xiaoyue Zhang is a Chinese creative producer, production manager, and artist based in Los Angeles. She works at the intersection of film, photography, dance, and theater arts. With multiple practices and through different mediums, she explores the conflict and pressure of identities in the gap between languages and bodies. She facilitates and participates collaboratively in processes that question the porosity of ideological constructs through the lens of the body. 

Her film and theater works have been shown at Guangdong Museum of Art (China), Short Film Corner of 2018 Cannes International Film Festival, and Hollywood Fringe Festival. Her works as a producer on films have been shown internationally in France, Germany, Athens, Vietnam, Ireland. She has worked as an arts administrator and project coordinator at Xin Ke Feng in Shanghai, and Ergao Dance Group in Guangzhou. She has worked as an associate producer for CalArts Center for New Performance. She is currently the Liveness Lab Fellow at the Orchard Project.

She received her MFA degree in Creative Producing and Management at California Institute of the Arts.
